Can you explain how Biobeat's device and RPM system enable proactive intervention for patients at risk of heart-related complications?

Biobeat provides FDA cleared vital sign measurement on a chest patch and/or a watch. These easy form factors with automatic data transmission lower the patient compliance burden and drive actionable data for timely intervention. This allows physicians to make quick care decisions to change the patient's outcome prior to deterioration, resulting in improved care, lower cost, and lower readmission rates.

Are there specific metrics related to heart health that Biobeat's device focuses on, and how are these metrics used to inform patient care?

With hypertension being the underlying cause of many cardiac-related conditions, health systems have this as a quality metric focus. Biobeat is changing testing for hypertension management. Our cuffless blood pressure (monitor) allows care providers to see the blood pressure without the bias of cuff inflation while also providing home monitoring capturing blood pressure and vital data during a full 24-hour period. This allows care providers better insight into the root cause of hypertension and to see trending blood pressure during a full 24-hour period to make better decisions on treatment. Similarly, the vital signs could help physicians adjust treatment protocols in patients with heart failure and basically any other cardiovascular disease.

How has Biobeat's devices been instrumental in emergency cardiovascular situations, and can you share a specific example highlighting its impact on patient care outcomes?

As discussed, we are changing how physicians are screening for hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases, leading to quicker diagnosis and improved outcomes. Specific to emergency treatment, Biobeat has completed successful pilot applications for monitoring patients in the emergency waiting room to identify serious patient deterioration. In our last pilot, we monitored 75 selected patients over a 60-day period. Of the 75, 3 were expedited back to the ED and 1 was transferred directly to the ICU. Biobeat's vital sign monitoring is providing security to care providers and patients, staying in front of serious deterioration leading to improved care. Another successful example is the use of the Biobeat platform in hospital at-home programs, already showing reduced 30-day readmission rates, decreased in 30-day mortality, and early notification of potential deterioration, also related to potential emergency cardiovascular situations.
